I was so happy when Jim at CityWalksNYC shared some itinerary options for a team-building walking food tour. I had looked at some other options from larger food tour companies and they looked underwhelming: a few slices of pizza, a few cannoli, a few dumplings…and not much else. Our CityWalksNYC tour was full of culinary and cultural history, 5 different eateries, and some lovely refreshments to end our 2-hour walking tour. It wasn’t just a great experience for my team, it’s also great knowledge for the next time I’m in NYC so I can relive some of the delicious bites that left me wanting to come back. Thanks so much Jim!

“What an amazing, delicious, and enlightening tour of Brooklyn enclaves and cuisines I never knew about—wonderful to encounter Korean Kirghiz (mid the Chinese ballroom dancers and the old card-players) and Albanian and Georgian and Muslim Chinese delicacies! Jim, thank you so much for that revelation—it was so much fun diving into all those restaurants and hearing the historical background, and it was great to meet you.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed the walk including you imparting your vast knowledge about the countries, their food and their cultures. We also found the various food dishes to be delicious! Exciting that by visiting  these different ethnic restaurants and enclaves combined with your knowledge you feel like you are eating somewhere in these distant lands.”
