Join CitywalksNYC’s City Guide, Jim Baker, on a tour of New York City’s most interesting cultural and culinary sites today!

CitywalksNYC offers tours in four formats: Outer Borough Tours, Culinary Cartography Tours, Long Tours, and Bespoke Tours.

Outer Borough Tours are 2 to 5 mile citywalks designed to take in the sights and sounds of the four boroughs (plus Hoboken) which surround Manhattan.

Experience Brooklyn’s Prospect Park and Victorian Flatbush, learn about the history of The Bronx while tasting the myriad flavors of Arthur Avenue, reflect on Manhattan’s canyons of steel and glass from the Hoboken waterfront, watch the ferry come and go from the shores of Staten Island, or stroll through the historic heart of Flushing, Queens.

Culinary Cartography Tours are designed to sample and savor the culinary delights a particular neighborhood or series of neighborhoods have to offer. Culinary Cartography Tours generally run between 1 and 3 miles and involve several pre-planned stops for light snacks and beverages.

Enjoy Korean, Chinese, and Korean Chinese cuisine along Northern Boulevard, try Guyanese and Trinidadian specialties on Liberty Avenue, sample Sri Lankan sambal in Staten Island, beat a path to the borscht bowl in Little Ukraine-East Village, and pick your favorite plov in Bensonhurst-Gravesend.

Designed to experience a cross-section of New York City’s storied history, culture, and infrastructure with short stops for coffee and snacks, Long Tours generally run between 5 to 13 miles and cover multiple neighborhoods and/or boroughs. Bring comfortable shoes and plenty of water.
